I'm a mum of three, and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Not because I'm a chef — but because feeding a family of five every single night requires it. For years I bought appliances based on magazine round-ups and star ratings from people I couldn't verify had ever cooked a proper family meal. That frustration started this site.

How I Test Products

Every appliance I review is cooked with in my actual kitchen, for my actual family, for a minimum of four weeks. I always include the cons. Always. The cons section is the most important part of any honest review — and the part most sites skip.
